The 5th and final Med-Vet-Net Annual Scientific Meeting is planned for 3-6 June 2009 at Euroforum Infantes, San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Madrid, Spain. The meeting theme is ´Microbial Communities´.
This is located 45 km north-west of Madrid, reached easily by public transport. On November 2, 1984, UNESCO declared The Royal Site of San Lorenzo of El Escorial a World Heritage Site.

The deadline for abstract submission was Friday 20 March, 5 pm GMT. Abstract submission is now CLOSED.If you have any queries regarding abstracts please contact Conference Administration. The theme for the meeting is ´Microbial Communities´, abstracts with the following topics are welcomed: - Detection and Control

Prices (Paying Delegates):Full Delegate (with accommodation): €800 (includes accommodation, meals, refreshments and conference registration)
Full Delegate (no accommodation): €500 (includes all meals, refreshments, conference registration) Day Delegate: €300 per day (includes 1 night accommodation, 2 meals, refreshments, day registration) Student Delegate: €300 (includes all lunches, refreshments, conference registration. Does not include evening meals or accommodation) Gala dinner and tour (for all paying delegates: €100 Med-Vet-Net Delegates:Each Med-Vet-Net partner institute has an allocated number of ´free´ places for delegates to attend the meeting.
