Sophie Granier
Sophie Granier

Science Communication Intern

Sophie Granier works at the French Food Safety Agency (AFSSA) in Paris, participating in the national programme of antimicrobial resistance monitoring of bacteria isolated from animals and food.

She is in charge of surveillance of resistance in non-human Salmonella, isolated from food, feed, animal health and the natural ecosystem.

From time to time, she also works on antimicrobial resistance characterization of batches of specific strains such as Staphylococcus aureus isolated from a ham factory, or Listeria isolated from food in France.

In February 2008 Sophie joined the Med-Vet-Net Science Communication Internship.
